Nope! Any registered and insured private passenger vehicle (such as a car, van, or pick up truck ) that is less than 20 years old will work. Two-wheeled rides like motorcycles and bikes aren’t eligible.

No specific work experience is needed. Our delivery profesisonals come from all kinds of backgrounds and ages - from 21 to 65+. If you’ve worked gig jobs like DoorDash, UberEats, Lyft, Instacart, or similar, Olyns is a great way to earn extra cash.

When a recycling Cube needs to be emptied, you’ll get a notification through the mobile app—that’s what we call a “service.” You can check out the pickup location and decide whether to accept or skip it. If you accept, here’s what you’ll do:

1. Drive to the Olyns Cube
2. Remove the bags of recycled cans and bottles and replace with new, empty bags.
3. Load the bags of cans and bottles into your vehicle
4. Drop them off at the Olyns Drop Zone
5. Get paid instantly through the app

Thousands of people drop off their empty drink containers for recycling at Olyns Cubes, which you’ll find at the entrances of stores like Safeway, Savemart, FoodMaxx, Lucky, and more. Once a Cube fills up with bottles and cans, independent contractors get the chance to empty it. To get started, you need to be at least 23 years old, have a private passenger vehicle that is less than 20 years old, a smartphone (iOS or Android), and the right docs - valid driver’s license ( for 3+ years), vehicle insurance ( proof of driver coverage), vehicle registration, and a social security number. Plus, you need to be able to lift 50 lbs.
